Crazy Days in downtown Little Falls will be July 29th-31st.

Valid until August 1st

The Little Falls Senior Center will host a Pancake Breakfast and Craft Sale from 8:00am-12:30pm on Sunday, August 1st.  Breakfast prices are $5 for adults, $2.50 for children under 10, and free for kids under 6.

St. Joseph's Parish in Pierz is hosting a Summer Festival on Sunday, August 1st.  Mass at 10:00am, Chicken by Gorka and Sauerkraut Dinner served from 11:00am-2:00pm.  Dinner tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-11, and free for kids 5 and under.  Bingo, music, kids games and auctions throughout the afternoon.  Grand Raffle drawing at 4:30pm.

The Little Falls Class of 1970 is planning a weekend of events in Little Falls for their 40 year reunion Friday-Sunday (August 6th-8th).  For information and to RSVP call Kim at (320) 360-3234.

Royalton's annual Platte River Day will be Saturday, August 7th. The parade starts at 10:30am with a unique auction after the parade. St. Paul's Lutheran Church will host an Ice Cream Social from 11:30am-3:00pm.  Turtle Races, a kids tractor pull and plastic duck races throughout the day with a street dance from 8:00pm-12:00am.

From 7:00-9:00pm on Saturday, August 7th the Lindbergh State Park Staff will demonstrate how to cook with Dutch ovens.  Treats prepared will be available for sampling.  Meet at the picnic shelter.  For information call (320) 616-2525.

The 21st annual Hog Roast and Corn Broil Pigout will be served from 5:00-8:00pm on Saturday, August 7th at the Upsala Recreation Building.  Cost is $8.50 for adults, $6.50 for children ages 6-12, and free for kids 5 and under.  Discount tickets available in advance by contacting any Upsala Lion's Club Member. 

There will be a Fort Ripley Reunion on Saturday, August 7th at the Fort Ripley City Park with registration from 11:00am-12:00pm and a potluck lunch at 12:30pm.  Bring a dish to pass along and your own refreshments. For information call 632-8055.

The Community Paint-A-Thon will be Saturday, August 7th.  It begins with a kickoff breakfast at 6:45am at First United Church in Little Falls.  15 teams of volunteers will help paint seven homes (5 in Little Falls and 2 in Swanville).

St. James Parish in Randall is holding their 19th annual "August Fest Fundraiser" on Sunday, August 8th. 10:00am Mass followed by a Chicken and Ham dinner at 10:30am. A large raffle, bingo, children's games, live auction and more throughout the day. For information call Tony at (320) 749-2428.

The Sacred Heart Church in Wahkon is having their annual bazaar on Sunday, August 8th.  Beef and Ham dinner from 11:00am-2:00pm and other events include cash bingo, grand raffle, auction and more.  For information call (320) 495-3324.

On Sunday, August 8th the Sacred Heart Chapel at the St. Francis Convent of Little Falls will hold their morning Mass at 11:00am. 8:30am Sunday morning Mass time resumes the following week.

The 21st annual Ride for Eyes will be Saturday, August 21st.  The ride starts from Herbies in Sobieski, Registration at 1:00pm, the ride starts at 2:00pm.  All automobiles are welcome; $10 minimum pledge per person.  For information call Ken or Carol at (320) 252-7804.

The Pierz Area Community Picnic will be Wednesday, August 25th at Pierz City Park.  The picnic is free for all who live inside the Pierz School District.  People are asked to bring a donation that day for the local food shelf.  Donations to finance the picnic are being accepted, they should be dropped off at City Hall marked "picnic".  For information call Kathy at (320) 616-2084.
