The Pierz Commercial Club invites everyone to the next “Rock, Roll, and Stroll” this Thursday, July 24th. The custom and classic car show (and more) event will be on the 4th Thursday of July, August, and September. From 6:00-9:00pm on Thursday custom and classic cars will line Main Street while guests enjoy music, a nice stroll and food. Owners of custom or vintage vehicles can register at 5:30pm on the grassy area of the St. Joseph Church parking lot. Guests will vote for their favorites in the car show to become the “Car of the Month”.

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 10:00am-4:00pm on Friday, July 25th at the Stellar Health Center in Little Falls.

There will be a benefit for Ivan Weber on Saturday, July 26th at the Genola Horseshoe Arena. The benefit is from 2 to 7pm and will feature music by the Dahmen Brothers and Ripsaw, picnic meal and silent auction.

The Our Lady of Lourdes Church Bazaar is this Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th. On Saturday 4:00pm Country Gospel Mass, live music, food and games that night. Sunday 8:30 and 10:30 Mass; Dinner from 11:00am-2:00pm, Silent auction all day, music in the afternoon, live auction at 4:00pm and a grand raffle at 6:00pm.

A homemade Chicken and Ham Dinner will be served from 11:00am-2:00pm on Sunday, July 27th at St. Rita's Parish in Hillman. Cost is $9 for adults, $3 for children under 12, and preschoolers eat for free.

The Upsala Upstage Players will perform "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" based on the Peanuts Comic Strip at the Upsala High School Auditorium at 7:30pm on July 25th, 26th, and 28th. There will also be a 2:00pm performance on Sunday, July 27th. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for seniors/students. Tickets available at the door.

Ruby's Pantry Food Distribution will be held from 4:30-6:00pm on the 4th Monday every month including Monday, July 28th at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls. $20 per box of food. Cash only and bring your own box. Open to everyone, no income qualifications. For information call (320) 632-9140.

Children in grades 1-4 are invited to a Kid Science Program from 1:00-2:30pm on Monday, July 28th at the Upsala Public Library. Register by calling 573-4282.

The Little Falls Carnegie Library is beginning a series of Horizon Health Summer Reads Preschool Storytimes. Children ages 3 to 6 are invited to the first of these storytimes on Tuesday, July 1st from 2:30 to 3:00pm. The attendance limit is 20 and registration is required. The Royalton Public Library is offering a series of Summer Reads Preschool Storytimes for children ages 3 to 6. Beginning July 2nd and runs until July 30th, taking place on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3pm. The attendance limit is 20. Adults and teens are invited to a watercolor painting class from 9:30-11:00am on Thursday, July 31st at the Upsala Public Library. Attendance is limited and preregistration is required by calling 573-4282.

Smokey Bear will be at the Upsala Public Library from 1:00-2:30pm on Thursday, July 31st for a program intended for kids ages 5-10. Attendance is limited and registration is required by calling 573--4282.

A Concert in the Park will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, August 1st at Upsala City Park. In the case of rain it would be moved to Upsala Area School Auditorium. Bring your own Chair. An ice cream social will also be held at this event.

A Corn Boil will be held from 5:00-7:30pm on Friday, August 1st at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hillman. Cost is $8 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 5-10, and free for kids under 5.

The 20th annual Royalton Platte River Day is on Saturday, August 2nd. The parade begins at 10:30am; youth tractor pull at 2:30pm; kids firefighter challenge at 3:30pm; hot dog eating contest at 5:00pm; pork chop dinner from 5:30-7:00pm and a street dance with "Chaser" from 8:00pm-12:00am. A Pancake, Sausage and Egg Breakfast will be held from 8:00am-12:00pm on Sunday, August 3rd at the Little Falls Senior Center. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-10, and free for kids 5 and under.

St. Joseph's Parish in Pierz will be hosting its Summer Festival Sunday August 3rd.  A Polka Mass starts at 10am featuring Dale Dahmen and the Polka Beats.  Lunch served from 1am to 1pm; $9.50 for adults, $5 for children 6-11, free for children 5 and under.  Full day of activities include games, music and much more.

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls invite the public to attend the 2014 Green Fair Folk Festival on Wednesday, August 6th from 4-8pm on the west lawn at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls. A Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, August 8th at the Taylor Chabet Twitchell Playground behind the Assembly of God Church on the north side of Little Falls. Ice cream bars available and balloons at the event. The playground is already open to the public.

The Morrison County Fair is Thursday, August 7th thru Sunday, August 10th at the fairgrounds east of Little Falls. Grandstand events are a Motocross on Wednesday, August 6th at 7:00pm; Tuff Truck and Car Competition on Thursday, August 7th at 7:00pm; Demolition Derby at 7:00pm on Friday, August 8th; and a 4 x 4 Truck and Tractor Pull on Saturday, August 9th at 3:00pm. Thursday is Military Day. Friday is Motoring Day (Auto Show from 2:00-7:00pm). Saturday is Kids Day. Sunday is Senior Citizen's Day.

A Rock the Park will be held from 6:00-10:00pm on Saturday, August 16th at Maple Island Park in Little Falls. It will be a free event.

The Little Falls Arts and Crafts Fair will be held from 8:00am-6:00pm on Saturday, September 6th and from 9:00am-4:00pm on Sunday, September 7th in downtown Little Falls. Use the free shuttle bus. Shuttle bus parking is available at the Morrison County Fairgrounds.

The Antiques and Collectibles Fair will be held from 8:00am-6:00pm on Saturday, September 6th and from 9:00am-4:00pm on Sunday, September 7th at LeBourget Park in Little Falls.

The Lone Eagle Auto Show and Swap Meet starts at 7:00am on Sunday, September 7th at the Morrison County Fairgrounds. For information call Karen or Wayne at (320) 632-6849.
