--The 20th Annual Morrison County Sheriff’s Department Sandbox Fill will be May 23rd. Anyone within a three mile radius of Bank Square in downtown Little Falls may have their sandbox filled. All that is required is a donation to the Morrison County Food Shelf. Donations can be given at the time of the sandbox fill or left by the sandbox if you are not home. You can register by calling 632-0199 and leave your name, address, phone number and where the sandbox is located on the answering machine.

The Sons of the American Legion Squadron #46 will sponsor an "All You Can Eat Breakfast" from 8:30am-12:00pm on Sunday, May 26th at the Little Falls Legion. Proceeds toward the City Flag Project and Legion Park Improvements.
The Little Falls Community High School Graduation ceremony begins at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 26th in the high school gym.

The Randall VFW Memorial Day Service will be held at 9:30am on Monday, May 27th at Dr. S.G. Knight Elementary School. Short services at the local cemetery following.
A Memorial Day Mass will be held at 9:00am on Monday, May 27th at the Holy Cross Church in Harding.
A Memorial Day Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, May 27th at the Cushing Baptist Church. The Randall VFW Post 9073 will be at the Cushing Union Cemetery following the service.

The Central Minnesota Tea Party Patriots will have an informational meeting on the Affordable Care Act on Monday, June 10th at the Browerville Community Center. There will be two chances to attend. The first session is from 3:30-5:00pm and the second is from 6:30-8:00pm.

The Little Falls Dam Festival will be held Friday, June 14th-Sunday, June 16th. .All events at Maple Island Park unless otherwise stated. Friday includes the Dam Sidewalk Sale from 9:00am-5:00pm, live band Power Plant from 6:00-7:30pm, and a street dance with the Roosters from 8:00pm-12:00am. Saturday will feature a Dam2Dam Bike Ride starting at Le Bourget Park at 8:00am, free airplane rides from 9:00am-1:00pm and also a pancake breakfast starting at 9:00am at the Airport, Minnesota Power Hydroelectric Power Plant Tours from 9:00am-5:30pm. The parade at 11:00am Saturday starts at 7th Ave. NE (City Hall) and then will travel south on 1st Street to 7th Ave SE (St. Gabriel's Hospital). Saturday also has Turtle Races at 2:45pm, Dam Talent Contest from 6:00-8:00pm, a street dance with Brat Pack Radio from 8:00pm-12:00am and fireworks at 10:05pm. On Sunday at Le Bourget Park a Bald Eagle Water Ski Team has shows at 12:30pm and 3:30pm and a Chain Saw Sculpture Demonstration at 1:30pm.

24th. It is always at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls. $15 per box of food.

The 20th annual Morrison County Relay for Life will be through the night of Friday, July 19th into the morning hours of Saturday, July 20th. It will once again take place at the Little Falls Community Middle School Track. More details will be posted as the event approaches.

The 19th annual Platte River Day in Royalton is scheduled for Saturday, August 4th. A 5K run will be held at 8:00am at the elementary school; a parade at 10:30am from the high school to the catholic church; the day also features a unique auction, turtle races, egg toss and duck races. The street dance will be held from 8:00pm-12:00am.
The St. Cloud VA will host a Veterans Rendezvous from 1:00-4:30pm on Friday, August 3rd. This event is open to Veterans and their families for an afternoon of music, fun, and to connect with other veterans and programs offered at the St. Cloud VA.

The annual Morrison County Fair will be August 8th-August 11th at the fairgrounds east of Little Falls. Grandstand shows being scheduled include Motocross, Tough Truck and Car Competition, Demolition Derbies, Mid-Central Pullers, Garden Tractor and ATV Pull, and a 4x4 Truck and Tractor Pull.
St. James Church of Randall will host the 22nd annual August Fest on Sunday, August 11th. Mass at 10:00am followed by a Gorka's Chicken and Ham Dinner starting at 10:30am. Throughout the day there will be bingo, country store, raffles, kids games, a silent auction, live auction and more. For information call Tony at (320) 749-2428.

The Wreaths for the Fallen program will be observing the National Remembrance Ceremony for the placing of the wreaths at 11:00am on Saturday, December 14th at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls. If anyone wants to help with the placing of the wreaths you are asked to be there by 10:00am.
